Working in ceramic and bronze, Tanya Brett, is one of the country’s leading animalier sculptors.  What makes her works different is that she treats the clay as if it were a canvas by working the surface with brush strokes and scratches as one would in painting or drawing.  Alongside these delightful sculptures you can see drawings and paintings that show how her ideas for the sculptures evolved.
