‘Syrian Art: Of Today’ – Group Art Exhibition In Aid Of Oxfam, Mayfair, 1st – 5th April 2014
This selling exhibition, organised by VC ART, shows the work of Syrian artists and part of the proceeds achieved will go towards the work Oxfam is doing for Syrian refugees in Lebanon, especially the Informal Tented Settlements programme. Over two million refugees have left Syria during the civil war.
The exhibition shows how in times of civil unrest and humanitarian crisis art can help. The five artists, aged between 21 and 42, are Fadi Al Hamwi, Tarek Butayhi, Mohamad Khayata, Thaer Maarouf and Ashraf Raheb and this pop-up exhibition gives them an opportunity to show their work to a new audience and London a chance to help them. Some sixty works will be shown, with prices ranging between £300 and £5,000 so dig deep in your pockets for this very worthwhile cause.
The internationally-known South Korean violinist Jenny Bae is giving her services to perform at the exhibition one evening. She has performed with Eric Clapton, Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Boccelli and Lionel Richie.

An interesting discussion is worth comment. I do believe tuat you need to write more about thjs
topic, it might not be a taboo subject but usually folks don’t speak about
such subjects. To the next! Kind regards!!
It’s just factual saying the exhibition was on then. It’s not a discussion group.
