Roxana Halls – ‘Appetite’, Hay Hill Gallery, 35 Baker Street, London W1, until 27th September 2014
This is the second solo exhibition that Roxana Halls has had at the Gallery and one can understand why they asked her back.
This time the focus is on appetite and the way culture can affect womens’ attitudes and behaviour on certain occasions. Although clearly working in the feminist tradition the artist wants the viewer to engage and push their reactions to the strongly presented female characters in her work.
Downstairs in the lower gallery is a group show of gallery artists.
