CRW Nevinson: A Printmaker in War & Peace, Osborne Samuel Gallery, 23a Bruton Street, London W1, until 18th October 2014
This comprehensive show of his prints comes alongside the launching of a new book CRW Nevinson –The Complete Prints compiled by and with essays by Dr Jonathan Black (Lund Humphries Publishing, London and Osborne Samuel Gallery).
Although perhaps best known for his evocative and moving images of the First World War he in fact created one hundred and forty eight prints between 1916 and 1933 and so New York, Paris and, of course, London provide the inspiration for other works in this enjoyable celebration of Nevinson’s printmaking.
