This retrospective of Riley’s work starts with the first print she made in 1962 and carries on to her more recent works. There is an emphasis on showing complete groups such as 19 Greys, Arcadia and Elongated Triangles which allows the viewer to see how each work in a group relates to the others in the series. It certainly helps explain her success as an artist and why her works are so popular.
