Today, on what would have been her 150th birthday, a first edition of Beatrix Potter’s The Tale of Peter Rabbit sold for £43,400. This copy is one of the original 250 copies from the first printing and was given by Potter to her goddaughter, Helen Burton.

A big thank you to Beatrix Potter for enriching our childhoods with her marvellous tales!
