The Affordable Art Fair, Battersea Park: 23 – 26 October 2014

“Jetty” by Richard Heeps, C-type photography, 65 x 107 cm, edition of 25. £595 at Bleach Box Photography Gallery
It hardly seems that it can be fifteen years since the Affordable Art Fair was founded and what a great success it has been with eighteen fairs in fourteen cities, spread across four continents.

“Eagle’s Descent” by John Simpson, Serigraph, 69 x 69 cm, edition of 50. £750 at Art of Treason
Not surprising really given the wide variety of works of art available between £100-£5,000 that it attracts new and established collectors each time, with the added bonus that they can take their purchases away with them on the day.

“Blue Hills” by Jacquie Denby , Acrylic on board, 46 x 46 cm. £1,500 at Quantum Contemporary Art
Will Ramsay, founder of Affordable Art Fair, sums it up saying; “I never believed 15 years ago that 1.6million people would have visited our fairs, buying 200,000 pieces of art around the world. The fair makes it easy to engage with art, to learn; we make art fun! Enjoy yourself and get involved in all we have to offer.”

“Gaze 2” by Hayun Choi, Mixed media (fabric, thread, c-type print), 100 x 90 cm. £1,960 at Recent Graduates’ Exhibition
Here’s your chance to do just that.
